Professor Jeremiah Oludele Ojediran, a Professor of Agricultural Engineering, is the Vice-Chancellor of Bells University of Technology, Ota. He is a long standing academic of over thirty years' experience.


He was born on the 13th January, 1955. Professor Ojediran attended Baptist High School, Jos and Federal Government College, Sokoto. He went to the University of Ibadan for his B.Sc degree in Agricultural Engineering and then proceeded to the Silsoe College, Cranfield Institute of Technology (now Cranfield University), Silsoe, Bedford, UK where he obtained an M.Sc. Agricultural Engineering. He later bagged a PhD in the same discipline from his Alma Mater, University of Ibadan.


He is a registered member of several professional and academic bodies like the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE); Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN); Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE); Solar Energy Society of Nigeria (SESN); and an associate member of the Institute of Agricultural Engineers, Silsoe, UK.


A seasoned academic, he has garnered experience in teaching and research having supervised undergraduate, postgraduate diploma, MSc and PhD students; and taught severally in universities. Institutions he has traversed and held important positions including; Director, College of Engineering, WaziriUmaru Federal Polytechnic (1992); Visiting Professor, Department of Agricultural Mechanisation and Irrigation, University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale, Ghana (2012-2013); Visiting Professor, Department of Agricultural and Bio-Systems Engineering, Landmark University, Omu-Aran, Kwara (2013-2014); and Visiting Professor, Faculty of Engineering, Adeleke University, Ede, Osun (2014-2016).


He was External Examiner at the Department of Agricultural Engineering at Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna; Department of Agricultural Engineering Water Resources, Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin; Department of Agricultural Engineering, Federal Polytechnic, Bida; Department of Mechanical Engineering,School of Vocational and Technical Education, St. Andrews College of Education, Oyo; Department of Agricultural Engineering, Federal University of Technology, Akure; and Department of Civil Engineering, University of Ibadan.


Professor Ojediran was also the Chairman, NUC Accreditation Panel to evaluate undergraduate degree programmes in Engineering at Enugu State University, Enugu; and, also, of the NUC ad-hoc Accreditation Panel to evaluate undergraduate degree programmes in Engineering at Imo State University, Owerri; member of the NUC Accreditation Panel to evaluate undergraduate degree programmes in Engineering at University of Ibadan and Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State.


He is a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award for Year 2006 from The Nigerian Society of Engineers, Ibadan Branch; and Faculty of Engineering and Technology Leadership Award from LAUTECH, Ogbomosho.


He has several publications to his credit, numbering over 50 in categories of dissertations, books, chapters in books, monographs, journal articles, occasional papers, and conference proceedings. He has participated in conferences such as the Nigerian Society of Agricultural Engineers (NSAE) National Conference, Maiduguri; 4th Annual Engineering Conference, College of Engineering and Engineering Technology, Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA); 3rd International Conference on Engineering and Technology Research, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomosho; and the 23rd Engineering Assembly, National Conference Centre, Abuja.


Professor Jeremiah Oludele Ojediran is married and blessed with children.

Mr. Sina Omotayo Adepoju,is the Bursar for Bells University of Technology, Ota. He heads the bursary team. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN); an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria, Certified by the Pension Institute of Nigeria; and holds an Authorised Clerkship License of The Nigerian Stock Exchange.


Born on 25th November, 1962, Mr. Sina attended Ogun State College of Education, Ijebu-Ode (in affiliation to University of Ibadan, Ibadan). He attended University of Ilorin, Nigeria for his B.Sc degree in Mathematics Education; and then proceeded to Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye, where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA). He later bagged an M.Sc. in Contemporary Accounting from Leeds Metropolitan University, Leeds City, U.K.


Mr. Sina has worked as Senior Accountant at Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye (1994) and rose through the ranks to become the Deputy Bursar in 2002. During that period, he had opportunities of Acting for the Bursar on three different occasions. In 2006, he became the Bursar of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro.


In addition to over twenty years in the management of Tertiary Institutions’ finances, Mr. Sina has served the nation in socio-political capacities as President, Bursars’ Association of Polytechnics, Colleges of Technologies and Monotechnics in Nigeria (BURSCON); Consultant on Revenue Generation Strategy, Ijebu North East Local Government, Atan, Ogun State; Alumni, Fate Foundation, Lagos; and Past President, Rotary Club of Ijebu-Ode.


He has attended important workshops, seminars and conferences such as the 2002 Rotary International Convention, Barcelona, Spain; 19th World Congress of Accountants, Rome, Italy; Association of Accountancy Bodies of West African Conference (2007) held in Cotonou; Executive Continuing Training Professional Education Programme of ICAN (2013) held in Banjul, Gambia; Stock Portfolio Management Course by West African Capital Market School, Accra, Ghana PZ (2006); Entrepreneurship Strategies in Higher Education Financial Management in Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, China (2013); and Management of Higher Education Institutes held at Galilee International Management Institute, Israel (2014).


Mr. Sina is happily married and blessed with four children.

The college is currently made up of three(3) Departments,namely: Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering, Department of Electrical Electronics and Computer Engineering and Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.


Tolulope Adesina, whose photograph appears above, is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Electronics and Computer Engineering. He graduated from Bells University of Technology with a B. Sc (2009) in Physics with Electronics and further bagged his M. Sc (2014) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where he has continued his Ph. D research.


He joined the teaching service of Bells University of Technology in November 2010, as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Physical Sciences, till July 2014. During this period, He led the communications and signal processing research group for undergraduate students and secured a grant from IBM, USA, under the Students' for a Smarter Planet initiative, to work on Pervasive Wireless Sensor Network Based Precision Agriculture for Agrarian Communities of West Africa and Cloud-Enabled Smart Power Monitoring for Buildings. He was also the convener of the 2014 Summer School on Web and Mobile Application Development held at the ICT Resource Centre, Bells University of Technology. In June 2014, He joined TYDACOMM Limited, a telecommunication antenna technology company that delivers long range antenna solutions to cellular operators across Africa, as a RF Planning Engineer. He returned to the service of Bells University in January 2015 and was a co-convener for ImpactLabs 2015, held at Bells University of Technology in August 2015, a national workshop that taught high school and undergraduate students about leveraging technology for solving environmental and social problems, sponsored by MIT, USA and ExxonMobil Nigeria.


Tolulope co-founded PD Technologies, an ICT consultancy company, in 2010 and founded Hactiv8 Labs, a technology innovation and startup accelerator hub in 2016, which delivers business development and incubation services, business modeling and product design and development, leveraging Web and Mobile software technologies, embedded systems/IoT/M2M solutions, big data and analytics solutions.


Tolulope has taught courses in Digital Communications, Information Theory, Wireless Communication Technologies, Antennas and Radio Propagation, and Digital Electronics. He has also supervised several undergraduate projects. His research interests include Software Defined Radios, Heterogeneous Wireless Networks, Internet of Things and 5G Communications. His current research is on leveraging Hybrid FPGAs for implementing unified access gateways for multiple radio access networks for solving the IoT interoperability problem. He is a member of IEEE.
