These may be through individual and group sessions, psychological & vocational testing, and use of occupational information.
The objectives of the Unit are to facilitate the development of students and help them make the most of their University experience . specifically, these include counseling towards enhancing self-understanding, selecting appropriate educational and career goals, improving effectiveness in working towards self-actualization, increasing social competence and resolving challenges which interfere with human development. The counselling encounter is strictly confidential and the services are free and available to all students and alumni.
